Affirmations, Meditations, Wisdom,
and Unity Teachings

Unity believes that we create our life experiences through our way of thinking. One way to foster thoughts that are positive and good is by taking time to connect regularly with Spirit through meditation and affirmations.

If you have difficulty meditating, you’re not alone! That’s why we offer a variety of GUIDED meditations and short affirmations that can help you calm and quiet your mind and focus on all that is good.

Affirmation: I am willing to forgive.

There are times when we feel out of sorts; when our minds are holding onto heavy thoughts of judgment or criticism.

Sometimes these ideas and feelings are directed toward ourselves as well as others. These are the opportunities to practice forgiveness..to unleash the burden of carrying thoughts that are weighing us down.

We ask ourselves, what can I release today? What can I let go of?

Let me forgive it and move on. I am free.

I am unlimited. There are no chains that bind me! I am willing to hold a loving space for everyone in the world.

I realize that we’re all interconnected in a divine tapestry of life.

So if a thought of judgment arises, I take the time to see everyone as a spiritual being.

I set my intention to release and let go of hard feelings. Forgiveness makes me feel free and light.

I am willing to forgive.

Perfect Imperfection

I am able to focus on my own spiritual growth and I release the need to control others.

Ram Dass gives a beautiful explanation of letting go of judging others: “When you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You appreciate it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.

The Path of Happiness Affirmation

“There is no path to happiness.

Happiness is the path.” -Buddha

Path to Happiness

I am able to find simple joys and meaningful pleasures in my life.

Happiness cannot be traveled to. It is an experience in the now moment. Happiness is not an elusive trophy that we hope to attain someday when things get perfect. Rather, it is the realization of our connectivity with the Power and Joy of the Universe in the present moment. We feel this happiness every time we reflect on the energy available to us now. With awakened consciousness, we affirm that joy and happiness can be found in the simplest of things, if we choose to see it that way.

Joyful Serving

I joyfully help wherever I can; easing the load of others.

Even from a distance, I know there are ways in which I may serve. Offering assistance is a means by which the Spirit of God moves from inner to outer. From un-manifest to manifest. Placing my intention on extending joy and kindness into the world, I notice ways in which I can share myself.

The delightful end result is that when I serve with joy, my joy expands.
