About the event

Liz McBride was born with 2 desires: to learn how to skateboard and play the guitar. She received both for Christmas, when she was 8-years-old. That Spring, she discovered she didn't have the aptitude for skateboarding, but guitar was going really well, so she stuck with that. Liz is predominantly self-taught and has built her skills and audience through the creation of Youtube videos and self-published music on Bandcamp. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Liz has been living and performing in Pittsburgh since she moved here in 2016 to attend Duquesne University. She graduated with her masters in Education, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and has been working as a therapist since 2018. In addition to her songwriting, Liz gives new life to music you know and love with her own unique arrangements.

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
