Replay" "Secret Scripture" by Stephen Weierman

Updated: May 8

Eighty years ago, the discovery

of the Nag Hammadi library provided new insight into the theological diversity of the early Church. Much of the content

of what would later be labeled Gnosticism provides not just a richer context for exploring Scripture,

but reveals striking parallels

with New Thought principles

that emerged centuries later.

Let’s explore how these ancient texts might speak to us today.

Music by Ronni Weiss

"When the Blessed One had said all these things, he greeted them all, saying, “Peace be with you! Bear my peace with yourselves! Beware that no one lead you astray saying ‘Look over here!’ Or ‘Look over there!’ For the Child of Humanity is within you! Follow it! Those who seek it will find it...” - The Gospel of Mary

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
