Meet the facilitator:

Allie Greene is a dedicated professional in the field of movement education and holistic fitness. She holds the prestigious title of Registered Somatic Movement Educator, accredited by the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association. Additionally, she is a certified 500 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) through the renowned EmbodiYoga® program and is recognized as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher by the Pilates Method Alliance. As the visionary owner of Equilibrium Pittsburgh Movement Studio, located in Wexford, Pennsylvania, Allie has established herself as a trailblazer in the realm of holistic wellness.

Allie is the creative force behind "Soma Movement: Holistic Fitness for Body, Mind, and Spirit." Her approach to holistic fitness transcends the boundaries of mere physical practice, embracing the entirety of an individual's being. She firmly believes in the intrinsic connection between psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being and its profound impact on overall health and longevity.

With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, Allie offers a diverse range of embodiment workshops, accessible through Pilates Fusion EDU. Her transformative somatic series, "Move into Ease," is readily available on Pilates Anytime, further extending her reach to wellness enthusiasts around the world. Notably, Allie has been honored with invitations to contribute her expertise to esteemed platforms such as the Embodied Yoga Summit and the philanthropic Giving Hearts Yoga initiative. She has also made significant contributions as a guest contributor on the global Be Well Stay Well® Network, solidifying her status as a respected figure in her field.

Allie's journey in movement began in the captivating world of dance, where she pursued a professional career in both Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Complementing her practical experience, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Performing Arts. Her commitment to creating positive change extends beyond her professional pursuits, as she has actively engaged as an outreach artist within the Pittsburgh city school system. Here, she has passionately worked with children and youth, including those with autism and underserved kids and teens, in various transformative settings.

Currently, Allie is embarking on a new chapter in her academic journey, pursuing a Master of Social Work Direct Practice - Trauma Informed degree through Carlow University. This endeavor underscores her unwavering commitment to holistic well-being and her dedication to enhancing the lives of others through the transformative power of movement and holistic fitness.
