Community Service
Free Flea
Second Annual
August 29th, 2026
Our church community came together for our Second Annual Free Flea event! Inspired by the spirit of generosity, church members threw open their closets, attics, and garages, decluttering their homes and donating treasures they no longer needed—all in the name of community spirit. Clothes, books, toys, furniture, kitchenware, and countless other hidden gems filled our tables, ready to find loving new homes. And the best part? Everything was absolutely free!
The response from our neighborhood was simply heartwarming. Friends and neighbors strolled through, eyes lighting up as they discovered unexpected treasures—a vintage lamp here, a stack of beloved novels there, a sturdy bookshelf just waiting for its next chapter! But beyond the wonderful finds, the real magic of the day was the connection. Strangers became friends, neighbors caught up over shared discoveries, and our church family got to mingle with the wider community in the most genuine, joyful way. It was a beautiful reminder that giving freely doesn't just declutter our homes—it fills our hearts and strengthens the bonds that make our neighborhood truly special. We can't wait for next year's Free Flea!
