About the event
Come join us for a healthy smoothies after service followed by a Qi Gong practice. The Chinese word Qi means Life Force Energy and gong means developing skill or mastery. Simply put, Qi Gong is a moving meditation. The breath is used to assist in moving the vital Qi through the body. The movements can be done standing or seated in a chair.
Qi Gong uses Qi (energy) to awaken, heal and balance our energy systems.
It does this through:
- Relaxing the body, nervous system and mind
- Drawing in energy from nature
- Directing energy flow through conscious movement and intentionIt is a wonderful practice by itself or a perfect primer for a seated meditation practice.
This event is open to all and can be done from a sitting or standing position.
A love offering will be accepted. The recommended donation is $10 per person.
