FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION & POTLUCK: The Heart of the Father: Welcoming the Children - Devon Jeffries

Drawing from Mark 10:13-16, we will explore the beautiful moment when Jesus welcomed little children into His arms and blessed them. While many see this as a simple story about children, hidden within these verses are profound truths about the heart of a father, the value of presence, the power of blessing, and the sacred responsibility of nurturing those entrusted to our care.

In a world where many are longing for acceptance, affirmation, and connection, this message will challenge and encourage fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and all who desire to reflect the Father's heart.

Come expecting insight, encouragement, healing, and practical truths that can strengthen families and generations.

Following the service, we will gather for a special Father's Day potluck. We invite everyone to bring their father's favorite dish—or a meal that reminds you of a cherished father figure in your life. Together, we'll celebrate, share stories, enjoy good food, and honor the lasting influence of fathers across generations.

We look forward to worshiping and fellowshipping with you! Music by Ronni Weiss

This service will not be livestreamed.

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
