The Wisdom of the Forest

Stepping past the trash to sit by the waterfall…the plastic candy wrapper appears foreign on the forest floor. Perhaps discarded mindlessly, or blown into this space from a distant lunchbox…

I resist the need to judge. Instead, I listen closely and follow the sound of the water.

Let it flow…wash away your worries and concerns. Let it flow…Immerse yourself in the stream of eternal life. Realize the peace that arises when we allow pure awareness to flow. Not rushing to the next place or task or event construed by the mind…The moment of NOW feels calming and friendly. Creative imagination rises to the surface. It is empowering, and more real than the world of worries that have been layered upon this pristine awareness. The wisdom of the forest speaks.

“Nature is surely the glorified face of God. See the beauty about you…and see the manifestation of the Infinite Mind.” - Myrtle Fillmore

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
