A Unique Spiritual Journey
As a Jewish Universalist Buddhist, Lydia inspired us all with her unique and entertaining spiritual journey. She shares her experiences as a young Jewish woman growing up in New York, studying Christianity in college, and discovering Buddhism through reading and meditation. Along this journey, she found her greatest love—the gift of teaching. Her journey of breaking with societal norms, navigating both professional and personal challenges with resilience and studying her own religion, led her to embrace a broader view of many faiths, leading to her personal mantra: "Do unto others." We believe the story of her journey can benefit all of us on our own unique paths to understanding!
