Statement of Purpose – To enlighten, inspire and empower others to live life fully in harmony and wholeness with compassion, love and joy.

My Passion – “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” George Elliot

“I believe every person can change their lives no matter what their age or circumstances. For most people, it is just that we do not know how, or do not have, the support to do it. My hope is to be a channel for the knowledge and support so people can truly become grateful for the life they have and to empower them to achieve the life they would like”….. Arlene

Attitude Attitude Attitude!
Attitudes Are Contagious... I’m not sure about you, but I have noticed that there are some people I'd rather be with than others. Primarily, it is due to their attitude. There are people who always seem to have a positive, loving, and kind attitude; they speak words of love and show acts of kindness and generosity, and these attitudes are contagious. I recently read  “Attitudes are contagious, is ours worth catching?”  I love this because it is true that we should focus on our own attitudes...

Gratitude & Acceptance
The best-laid plans... Last weekend, I finally visited Newport, R.I. I had wanted to go for years, but it had just never happened. So, I was really excited to finally arrive and eager to explore this charming town.  However, as Robert Burns said in a poem,  To A Mouse ,  "The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” Or as another saying goes , “If you want to make God laugh, tell It your plans.”  It was not only raining but also accompanied by lightning and thunder. Is God Good? This past Sunday, I led a service at the Unity Center of Pittsburgh called "Stump the Minister." It was an opportunity for people to ask me questions about Unity, spiritual topics, or myself. Some of the questions asked are things many of us wonder about in our own minds.  One of those questions was, “If God is good, why is there evil in the world?” My answer then and now is what I believe. I believe that God is good, but human beings are often not. UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
